Happy New Year, everyone!
New year, new books to anticipate.
Below is my annual collage of new books to anticipate this year. This year I’m not doing the most by highlighting 99 books like I did last year. I’ve compiled just 69 new African, African-American, Black-Brit and Caribbean books that look very promising.
Please note – this list/collage is just a snippet of books by Black authors 2022 has to offer!

What new releases are you excited about? Please do share!
Check out the new books I highlighted in: 2021 | 2020 | 2019 | 2018 | 2017 | 2016 | 2015

Ooh, what a lovely tempting page of books! I have Black Cake, Wahala and Yinka on my NetGalley shelf (I have read some more negative reviews of Yinka, though, so going into that with some reservations), and I can’t wait for People Person. But when things with my TBR have calmed down a bit, I’m going to come back to this, as there is so much interesting stuff on here – thank you!

What a wonderful idea, thank you!
My favourite title is Red Lip Theology, for church girls who’ve considered tithing to the Beauty Supply Store when Sunday morning isn’t enough!
